BioBehavioral Visits Great Neck North High School

Published on

North High School kicked off its third-annual Mental Health & Wellness Week today. This week-long program features daily guest speakers and student-led presentations to raise awareness and promote wellness.

The first presenters of the week were Dr. Sony Khemlani-Patel and Dr. Danielle Gardini of the Bio Behavioral Institute in Great Neck, who led a stress and anxiety workshop to help students understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy stress. They also shared cognitive-behavioral strategies to combat negative thoughts and alleviate anxiety. #DiscoverGreatness
